Polda Metro to Depart 428 Free and Precise Buses for Homecoming on 18-19 April

Jakarta – The Metropolitan Police Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya) is organizing a free homecoming program for Jakarta and its surroundings. As of now, 23,000 people have registered for it. Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman said that the number has exceeded their target of 20,000 people who would participate in the program.

“For now, we have closed the registration because our target was 20,000, but in just two days, we already have 23,000 so we will depart with 428 buses,” said Latif to journalists in Jakarta on Monday (10/4/2023).

Latif added that they will coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure a smooth journey. The departure is scheduled on 18 and 19 April 2023.

“Since it is a large number, we will coordinate with relevant officials to ensure that Mudik Gratis Presisi 2023 runs smoothly,” he said.

Latif said that the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo is scheduled to attend and release the participants of the free homecoming program. The program is intended for people from West Java, Central Java, and East Java.

“The first departure is scheduled for 18 April, the second on the 19th, which will be attended by the Police Chief directly to release Jakarta residents who will visit West Java, Central Java, and East Java,” he added.
