As part of the 122nd Anniversary celebration on April 1, 2023, PT Pegadaian Kanwil VII Denpasar, together with the Pegadaian Employee Wives Association (IIKP), visited the Tunas Bangsa Orphanage in Denpasar to distribute donations as part of the Orphanage Care and Orphanage Child Support program.
The program is intended for orphanages that are spread throughout Bali-Nusra and will run during April 2023.
In his speech, I Gusti Putu Susila, Head of the Social and Environmental Responsibility Section (TJSL), said that this program aims to provide assistance to orphans and orphanages in need, especially in fulfilling basic needs such as groceries.
“In its implementation, the Orphanage Care and Orphanage Child Support program will be coordinated by Pegadaian and will be followed by 6 (six) Area Offices, including Denpasar 1 & 2 Area, Ampenan Area, Ende Area, Dompu Area, and Kupang Area, which will involve several orphanages and foundations in the region. The budget of IDR 85,000,000 (eighty-five million rupiahs) will be used to purchase basic needs such as groceries,” explained I Gusti Putu Susila in his written statement in Denpasar, Tuesday (4/4/2023).
According to him, the Orphanage Care and Orphanage Child Support program is a form of Pegadaian Kanwil Denpasar’s concern for orphans and orphanages that need assistance.
“We hope that this program can provide benefits to orphans and orphanages in our region,” he said.
The Orphanage Care and Orphanage Child Support program is expected to provide significant benefits to orphans and orphanages in the PT Pegadaian Kanwil VII Denpasar region.
“Pegadaian invites everyone to actively participate in this program as a real form of our concern for others,” he concluded.
