The Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP Bali) held an online sympathetic campaign event labeled Spectacular 2023 with the theme “Optimistic Taxes in the Midst of Economic Uncertainty” on DJP Bali’s YouTube channel on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
The campaign was aimed at reporting the Annual Income Tax Return and matching the National Identification Number to the Taxpayer Identification Number. To attract broader public interest, the DJP Bali Regional Office invited successful and beautiful Balinese entrepreneurs, Kadek Maharani Kemala Dewi, or better known as Maharani Kemala, and an economic practitioner, academician, observer, and lecturer at Udayana University, Naniek Noviari, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., BKP as the speakers for the Spectacular 2023 talk show.
Head of the Promotion, Service, and Public Relations Division of DJP Bali, Waskito Eko Nugroho, reported that the compliance achievement for the 2022 Annual Income Tax Return on the same date was 183,219 with a breakdown of 179,481 for Individual Income Tax Return and 3,742 for Corporate Income Tax Return. In addition, matching the National Identification Number to the Taxpayer Identification Number in the DJP Bali Regional Office reached 78%, or 903,027 out of 1,156,424 individual taxpayers registered in Bali.
The talk show was moderated by I Gusti Ngurah Bagus Maha Iswara as the DJP Bali Regional Office Objection Analyst. In this talk show, I Made Artawan, Acting Head of the DJP Bali Regional Office, reported the revenue performance for 2022.
“The 2022 taxation achievement is encouraging both nationally and for the DJP Bali Regional Office. Specifically in Bali, all eight Tax Service Offices have exceeded the set targets, so the DJP Bali Regional Office, as a whole, has been able to achieve 132% of the set target and grew 38% compared to the achievement in 2021,” said Made Artawan.
“This achievement opens the fast for the DJP Bali Regional Office after a long time of never reaching 100% of the set target. Of course, this is also thanks to the economic growth, extraordinary Balinese entrepreneurs like Kak Rani, and the contribution of all Balinese taxpayers,” added Made.
